<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION MINUTES <br />JANUARY 21, 2003 <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br />4.A. 2003 Retreat <br /> <br />Me Lynch updated the Council on the new dates for the 2003 City Council <br />Retreat. <br /> <br />Mayor Aplikowski expressed displeasure with the scheduling of the Retreat dates. <br /> <br />The Council suggested the following dates to consider when rescheduling: <br />Schedule Session I for Saturday, February 22, 2003, and keep the March 6, 2003, <br />date or possibly schedule both on Saturdays. <br /> <br />4.C. Comcast Update <br /> <br />Mayor Aplikowski asked for information concerning the Com cast situation. <br /> <br />Mr. Lynch provided background information and stated a letter was sent to <br />Comcast that the City had no data responsive to the Data Practices Act Request. <br /> <br />City Council Comments: <br /> <br />Mayor Aplikowski stated Representative McCollum had a rally January 22, 2003, <br />at I :00 and inquired who, from the City would attend. She added that Craig <br />Wilson would be willing to serve as liaison to the North Suburban <br />Communications Commission and should be appointed at the January 27, 2003, <br />Council meeting. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden stated the audio on the Council Meeting broadcasted on <br />cable was difficult for viewers at home to understand. She indicated she had <br />received several complaints from residents in this regard. <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem reported on the City Wide Neighborhood Watch meeting <br />scheduled for Tuesday, March I 1,2003, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at City Hall. <br /> <br />Council member Larson had no comments. <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant stated the City did not have a legal consultant with <br />environmental issues regarding TCAAP. <br />
