If you select us we will not accept any similar metro area searches during this engagement <br />in order to concentrate on your search until your assignment is completed. <br /> <br />Sathe Executive Search was established in 1974. We have provided recruitment services for over 600 <br />organizations and have filled nearly 2,700 positions. We have worked with many cities on numerous City <br />Administrator/City Manager searches over the years. <br /> <br />We are honored by the Greater Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce as the only search firm to receive <br />their Keystone A ward. This recognition is presented for community service. Each year since 1988, we <br />havc given at least 5% of our gross profits to support worthy community projects. <br /> <br />Our brochure provides an overview of our search process. In this proposal we will address the finer <br />points unique to the Arden Hills assignment. <br /> <br />STEPS WE WILL FOLLOW IN THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR SEARCH <br /> <br />Survey, Consensus Building and Profile Development <br />When your search team assembles to make a unified hiring decision, it is important from the onset that <br />the goals and desired outcomes be clearly defined. For example, some team members may emphasize <br />skills in planning and economic development, while others may favor skills in finance, human resources, <br />communications skills, or community programming. <br /> <br />To achieve a consensus, Sathe Executive Search will craft a set of proprietary survey tools (sample <br />enclosed) to identify points of agreement and disagreement among the search team members. <br />Additionally, during our meetings, we will listen to all views of what is needed for success in the position. <br />With your approval, we would like to interview some city hall staff and active citizens to get their input <br />and hclp them feel included in the selection process. <br /> <br />The Sathe Building. 5821 Cedar Lake Road.
