The
Management Team met several times to discuss, amend, and compare and contrast the
currcnt Arden Hills Assessment Policy with the assessment policies provided by the City of
New Brighton, City of Roseville, City of Vadnais Heights, City of Blaine, City of Litde
Canada, and City of Shoreview.

URS Engineers Greg Brown and Nick Landwer have also reviewed the document.

For Council's review, Staff has attached a working draft of an Arden Hills Assessment
Policy. \Vhile the attached draft incorporates many of the provisions found in the existing
policy, this version indicates a "unit based" method for calculating assessments, and the
current policy calculates assessments based upon frontage footage.
