.

11Im! PERSON\JEL
6 R~c(!~J~t'!~

Unfortunately, I will be on my way to Washington, D.C. on Monday evening. However, I am sure
that you will find my colleague, Dr. Donna DiMenna, more than adept in filling in for me.

Also enclosed is a draft of the position profile. Please review and make any changes you see fit. I
would like to share this with continuing candidates.

After candidates are interviewed by you, the management team, and employee representatives, you
will need to meet briefly to decide which candidates continue as finalists. I will be in Baltimore the
week of June 23 - 27. I am president of the International Personnel Management Association
Assessment Council (IP:rvfAAC), and this is our annual conference. Please do not let that constrain
you, however. We will need a couple days to collate the information from all of the interviews and
get it back to you. You will then want some time to review the information before making a decision
regarding finalists. The good news is that the meeting to discuss finalists usually takes no longer than
15-30 minutes.

.

!fyou have any need to contact me, please feel free to do so by phone (612/337-8233). Even though
I am on the road, I will be in constant phone contact.

I am attaching a slightly revised timeline. Though we have pushed things back one week at this point,
we have shortened some subsequent time frames so that we hopefully can finish on schedule.

I am pleased with both the quantity and quality of applicants. I look forward to the next steps of the
process.

.
