Brown Y; P/J <br />Arden Hills City E~/ <br /> <br />Date: July 9, 2003 <br /> <br />Subject: Pay Estimate #1 <br />2003 Pavement Management Program <br />Ingerson Neighborhood <br />Karth Lake Neighborhood <br /> <br />Background <br />The City of Arden Hills awarded Arnt Construction Company, Inc. of Hugo, MN the 2003 <br />Pavement Management Program on June 9, 2003 for a total contract amount of $1,903,526.10. <br /> <br />Project Status <br />Karth Lake Neighborhood <br /> <br />The Contractor is making good progress on this project. The stormwater treatment structures <br />have been installed in the Karth Lake Neighborhood and the reconstruction of Pleasant Drive is <br />underway. The Contractor plans on completing all work in the Karth Lake Neighborhood by <br />July 18. <br /> <br />Ingerson Neighborhood <br /> <br />The Contractor has begun the storm sewer work and removals in the Ingerson Neighborhood <br />and is making good progress. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />The Arden Hills City Engineer recommends the Council approve Pay Estimate #1 for Arnt <br />Construction Company, Inc. of Hugo, MN in the amount of 365,498.58. A retainage of 5.00% <br />is being held for this project. <br />
