<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ARDEN HILLS REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />JUNE 30, 2003 <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br />C. Assessment Policy Task Force <br /> <br />Ms. Young stated staff had received one application from a resident who had <br />volunteered to serve on this task force. She asked the Council how they wished to <br />proceed. <br /> <br />Mayor Aplikowski noted Ray McGraw would like to be added to the Task Force. <br /> <br />Councilmember Larson expressed concern regarding the fast pace of this <br />procedure. <br /> <br />Mayor Aplikowski stated they would put this on hold until the fall and requested <br />another solicitation be made of the citizens at that time. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> <br />Councilmember Larson - Stated he would not be present for the July 14 meeting. <br />He thanked staff and the volunteers for working on the event this past weekend. <br /> <br />Council member Rem - Thanked everyone for helping this past weekend. <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant - Thanked staff and volunteers for working on the Beach <br />BBQ event this weekend. <br /> <br />Mayor Aplikowski - Thanked staff for all of their hard work during this <br />transition period. She also thanked everyone for their hard work on the Beach <br />BBQ and the sponsors who contributed to this event. She indicated the fireworks <br />would be rescheduled to sometime in August. She asked Council if they wished to <br />have Proclamations. Council agreed not to have Proclamations. <br /> <br />Mr. Parrish - Stated the water level on Karth Lake had increased. He asked how <br />Council wanted to proceed on this issue. Mayor Aplikowski suggested holding a <br />meeting on July 14, 2003 with the Karth Lake residents and other interested <br />parties and requested staff present options for a solution at that meeting. <br />
