<br />.Aua-19-l003 14:04 <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />From-PETERSON FRAM BERGMAN <br /> <br />6512281753 <br /> <br />T-959 P 004/032 F-143 <br /> <br />". <br /> <br />DRAFT <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RESOLUTION NO.: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING LAKE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT <br />CRITERIA FOR KARTII LAKE AND ESTABLISHING A DATE FOR <br />A PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota StatuteS 459.20 and Minnesota Statutes 103B. <br />501-103B.581, the City of Arden Hills has the authority to establish and administer a Lake <br />Improvement District for lakes locates wholly within its boundaries; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Karth Lake is located wholly within the boundaries of the City of <br /> <br />Ardem Hills; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the consulting engineer for the City of Arden Hills has prepared a <br />repon (Engineering Study) dated the _ day of _ 2003, which describes a necessity of <br />constrUcting and monitoring a lake elevation control structure for Karth Lake and which is <br />attached hereto as exhibit .; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 103B.501-103B.581 in Minnesota <br />roles 6115.0900-6115.0980 the City of Arden Hills has prepared a proposed order establishing <br />and providing for the administration of the Kwh Lake Improvement District for the purpose of <br />construCting and monitoring a lake elevation control structure. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the ArdenHiJls City Council <br /> <br />1. The Engineering S{lldy is approved. <br /> <br />2. The boundaries of the proposed Karth Lake Improvement District as iIlustrated <br />and described in the Engineering Study are temporarily approved subject to final <br />approval following the public hearing. <br /> <br />3. The City of Arden Hills intends to establish the Karth Lake Improvement District <br />as proposed in the Engineering Study. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />The public hearing to accept comments regarding the establishment of the Karth <br />Lake Improvement District shall be held at 7.00 p.m. on the day of <br />.2003 at the Arden Hills City Hall, 1245 west Highway 96, Arden Hills, <br /> <br />MN. <br />
