<br />. <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL WORKSESSION <br />AUGUST 18,2003 <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />Mayor Aplikowski directed staff to revisit the meeting minutes concerning this <br />Issue. <br /> <br />Mr. Parrish suggested staffwould insert updated information concerning the issue <br />on the next published URS construction newsletter to residents of the 2003 PMP <br />proj eel. <br /> <br />4.C TCAAP: Goals and Policies <br /> <br />TCAAP Planning Consultant John Shardlow introduced a vision statement for <br />the future of the TCAAP property. Mr. Shardlow and the Council discussed <br />general goals, development process, land use and housing, transportation, <br />environment, community character and identity, and guiding principles for the <br />development of the TCAAP site. After discussion, it was generally agreed that Mr. <br />Shardlow would present the revised vision and goals to the TCAAP Advisory <br />Panel at its Thursday, August 28, 2003 meeting. <br /> <br />4.A Personnel Policy Amendments <br /> <br />Ms. Young presented proposed amendments to the Personnel Policy, noting <br />mandated and adopted changes. <br /> <br />Councilmember Larson questioned the provision which indicated the supervision <br />of family member employees. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden and Councilmember Grant questioned the limitations <br />regarding compensatory time off. <br /> <br />Ms. Young stated she would amend the language found in the family member <br />employee provision, and make available documentation of the FLSA standards <br />regarding compensatory time provisions for non-exempt employees at the August <br />25,2003 Council meeting. <br /> <br />3.B Ramsey County Maintenance Facility: Joint Powers Agreement <br /> <br />Mr. Parrish provided the Council with a brief update on the agreement with <br />Ramsey County. <br />
