The rantp will belocated <br />near ~southwestconier of the Guidantcampus (refer 10 Campus Master Plan P.U.D.). It <br />will ~e an existing surface parking lot immesiiately south of existing Building 'C'. The <br />1111npiwill be a concrete structure; 4 levels, with the 10westle\1e1 partially below grade. The <br />liei3Jrt.abQve grade at the northwest stair core will be approximately 34 feet The northeast <br />stair/~levator core will be approximately 44 feel above grade. The exterior will incorporate <br />cast-stone"metal panel and glass. The design builds on the precedent established by the <br />previolIslyapproved Training Center project, which is now under construction. 1be west and <br />south elevations of the ramp will incorporate a lattice sysleln to allow for the development of <br />a "grow wall." The "grow wall" will be planted with vines to aid in the screening of vehicles. <br /> <br />. Gui4ant is requesting site p1l\l1 approval for an addition to Building' N'. Refer to the Campus <br />MaSter Plan P.D.D. forlocalion. The building addition will be a one story,31,000 square <br />. foot, steel structure, matChing the existing building height of 26 feet. The exterior will <br />inc~tebrick, cast stone, metal panel and glass. The design will be consistent with the <br />Training ~ter and Building E addition, both of which are tmder construction. The building <br />will,house development and assembly of medical device components. The existing portions <br />oft\1ebuilding will be re-c1ad with stucco to follow the design of Building 'F'. . <br /> <br />Gul&nt is requesting an amendment to its Campus Master Plan P.U.D. . The purpose of the <br />amt:1)thnent is to allow for an addition to existing Building 'N'. To maintainthe balance of <br />builOOig:area as described in the CampU$ Master PIanP.U.D., future construction WIll be <br />reduced in area.
