<br />J.. .~ <br /> <br />() <br /> <br />) <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />May I, 2001 <br /> <br />Dave Reimer <br />Guidant Corporation <br />4100 Hamline Avenue <br />Arden Hills, MN 55112 <br /> <br />Re: Planning Case #01-02, Master PUD Amendment/Site Plan Review <br />Guidant, 4100 Hamline Avenue <br /> <br />Dear Mr, Reimer: <br /> <br />Pleased be advised that the City Counil, at their April 30, 2001, regular meeting, <br />approved Planning Case #01-02, Master PUD Amendment and Site Plan Review for a <br />parking structure, with the following conditions: <br /> <br />1, A parking structure of 45'-8" in height is permitted, as proposed, due to the potential <br />long range plans for the facility, creating greater parking needs as a result of . <br />additional buildings, in turn preserving landscape area and not encouraging <br />additional hard surface area greater than that permitted on the campus; <br />2, The applicant shall contact Rice Creek Watershed District for the required approvals; <br />3, The applicant shall amend final plans to comply with the City Engineer's comments <br />in this memorandum; <br />4, The applicant shall meet with the Building Inspector and resolve the compliance <br />issue with Universal Building Code 5033 for distances between the bnildings on the <br />campus, including the parking structure; <br />5, Minimize outward exposure of lighting and use environmentally friendly lighting <br />colors on the parking ramp; and <br />6, Application for a building permit must be made with the Building Inspector. <br /> <br />If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact me at 651-634- <br />5126, <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />Jennifer Chaput <br />City Planner <br /> <br />cc: <br /> <br />Planning Case file #0 1-02 <br />Dave Scherbel, Building Official <br /> <br />. <br />
