<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL WORKSESSION <br />October 20, 2003 <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant said the Council had initially agreed to a 50/50 split <br />between the residents and the City as the funding option, but indicated his <br />preference was a 60/40 (City 60, Residents 40) scenario of the construction <br />expense only. <br /> <br />Councilmember Larson said he preferred scenario #1 as his choice of options. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden said scenario's #2 or #3 were her preferred financing <br />options. <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem said scenario #2 was agreeable to her. <br /> <br />Mayor Aplikowski said she preferred scenario #2. <br /> <br />The majority of the Council agreed to a 50/50 option of the contract expenses <br />only (Scenario #2). <br /> <br />Mr. Moore added that the current level ofKarth Lake was low, and had not been <br />measured in approximately three weeks. He mentioned the 2003 PMP sod on <br />Ingerson Avenue was installed and weather permitting, the items on the final <br />punch-list should be complete by October 24, 2003. <br /> <br />5. ADMINISTRATION: none <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS: <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden said she was pleased with the new calendar format; <br />Anchor Bank is open. <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant said the Fernwood Channel plantings were impressive. <br /> <br />Councilmember Larson: none. <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem said she did not get to the School District Forum and there <br />is an Arden Hills resident as a candidate in the upcoming school board election; the <br />videotape of the forum is available at the Arden Hills Library. <br />
