Ifthe City collects more than $5,000.00 annually in fees, the fee schedules <br />must be adopted by ordinance and the fees must be fair, reasonable and proportionate to the <br />actual cost of the service for which the fee is imposed. <br /> <br />The State Regulations which apply to water, sanitary sewer and storm water (MS 444.075 <br />Subd. 3) and which apply to various licensing regulations do not specifically indicate that these <br />..,es of fees need to be adopted by ordinance. However, I would recommend that the <br />Wlinance format be utilized.
