<br />~ <br />~LLS <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 04-21 ADOPTING A VISION STATEMENT AND GOALS FOR <br />REUSE OF THE ARSENAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Arsenal is located within the northem portion of the City of Arden Hills; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City is working with the General Services Administration and Army to acquire <br />portions of the property that have been declared excess of Federal needs for reuse; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has initiated a comprehensive planning process to develop a reuse plan for <br />the site; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the TCAAP Master Planning Advisory Panel has been established to provide input <br />into the various components of the planning process; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the review and input of the TCAAP Master Planning Advisory Panel, a <br />proposed vision statement and goals have been developed to help guide the reuse of the arsenal and <br />subsequent phases ofthe planning process. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, <br />Minnesota, that the Vision and Goals attached as Exhibit A are approved to guide the reuse of the arsenal; <br />and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden <br />Hills, Minnesota, that Phase III of the planning process, the development of a preferred land use scenario, <br />be initiated. <br /> <br />ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS <br />26th DAY OF JANUARY, 2004. <br /> <br />Beverly Aplikowski, MAYOR <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Michelle Wolfe, Administrator <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />\\Earth\Admin\CounciI\Resolutions\2004\04-21, Adopting TCAAP Vision and Goals Statcment.doc <br />
