<br />. Keeps a minute book containing all of the City Council proceedings. <br /> <br />Responsible for preparation, maintenance, filing. and publication of official records, <br />documents, resolutions, ordinances, and policy and procedures manuals. <br /> <br />Administers records retention and management in compliance with state retention and <br />data privacy requirements. <br /> <br />Attends City Council and other meetings, as required. <br /> <br />Coordinates City licensing in accordance with code and state statutes, including records <br />maintenance, application processing, monitoring and revising fee schedule, and <br />administers charitable gambling procedure. <br /> <br />Responsible authority for Data Practices Policy. <br /> <br />Administers, plans, prepares, and conducts local. state. and national elections in <br />accordance with statutory requirements. <br /> <br />Manages animal control. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Supervises Office Support Specialists and Customer Service Representative I. <br /> <br />Performs other duties as apparent or assigned. <br /> <br />QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential <br />duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, <br />skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable <br />individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. <br /> <br />EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE <br /> <br />Bachelor's Degree in Management. Business, Public Administration or related field. <br />Master's Degree preferred. Minimum of 2 - 5 years progressively responsible <br />experience in local government. Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience; or an <br />equivalent combination of education or experience. <br /> <br />SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILlTES <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Directly supervises the positions of the Office Support Specialists and Customer Service <br />Representative I. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the City's <br />policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing <br />work; evaluating performance; and addressing complaints and resolving problems. <br />Responsibilities also include the ability to effectively recommend recruiting and hiring; <br />
