Mr. Brasch replied it would <br />be a five-year maximum. <br /> <br />Chair Sand asked if the design had been reviewed for Code compliance. Mr. Braseh <br />responded it had. <br /> <br />Commissioner Zimmerman moved, seconded by Commissioner Ricke, to approve <br />Planning Case 04-04: Guidant Corporation; 4100 Hamline Avenue; Site Plan Review for <br />Temporary Walkway, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />I. The applicant shall continue to abide by the conditions of approval as stated in <br />the approved Master Plan PUD. <br /> <br />2. Exterior lighting of the walkway shall be in compliance with City Ordinance. <br /> <br />3. Stop signs shall be installed by the applicant at the crosswalk across Fernwood <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />4. The section of Fernwood Avenue connecting the two halves of the walkway <br />shall be striped as a crosswalk. <br /> <br />5. The attached Agreement to Terminate Use shall be executed by both parties <br />and recorded with Ramsey County <br /> <br />6. Upon such time as the use is terminated, the building that the walkway <br />connects (Buildings E and L) shall be restored in such a way as is compliant <br />with International Building Code and the exteriors shall be restored so that the <br />finish ofthe repaired areas are consistent with the rest of the building. <br /> <br />7. Pedestrian curb ramps should be 5 feet long to meet the 8.3% ramp slope. <br /> <br />8. A swale shall be constructed around the west side of the western half of the <br />walkway to divert runoff around the structure. The applicant shall submit <br />drawings showing the drainage around both halves of the walkway to the City <br />Engineer. <br /> <br />9. The construction is subject to approval by the Building Official for Code <br />compliance. <br /> <br />Commissioner Larson requested Condition 9 bc added to state: The eonstmction is subject to <br />approval by the Building Official for Code compliance. <br /> <br />Commissioner Zimmerman and Commissioner Rieke accepted condition number 9 as a part of <br />their motion and second. <br /> <br />. The motion carried unanimously (7-0). <br />
