My comments inelude the following:

1_ The site plan is somewhat confusing. It only shows existing contours and benchmark
information. Is it supposed to be an existing conditions plan or a site survey plan? Please
verify and correcL

.

2. On the Utility Site Plan:
A. The proposed watermain connection is not looped. Please provide water supply
calculations indicating that the fire flow is sufficienL The fire protection plan must be
reviewed by the Fire Inspector.
S- A conflict exists between the tablc and note regarding the size of the watermain
segment W18.
e. The plans call for insulation of a segment of proposed sanitary sewer. It appears that
it may be possible to place additional fill over this area to satisfy the minimum cover
requirements? Please verify.
D. The Bethel College sanitary sewer flows to a lift station. In order to verify the
capacity of the lift station, please provide sanitary sewer flow calculations for the
proposed dormitory.

3. On thc Grading, Drainage and Erosion Control Plan:
A. A portion of the wetland located cast of the dormitory will be filled by the proposed
construction_ Also, depending on the sensitivity of the adjacent wetlands, additional
erosion and sediment control measures may be requircd. Please coordinate wetland
protection and mitigation requirements with the Rice Creek Watcrshed District.
NPDES (Phase 2) and RCWD permits will be required.
B. Culvert D7, located between the wetlands, has the same invert elevations on both

.
