Plannin<J Commission's recommendations resulting from <br />its December 6, 1978 regular meeting, and the City Council's <br />approval thereof at its meetin<J on September 8, 1980. <br /> <br />This Permit replaces. the Interim Special Use Permit <br />issued March 6. 1978. The Interim Special Use Permit shall no <br />10n<Jer be of any force and effect. <br /> <br />This Permanent Special Use Permit confers upon BAPTIST <br />GENERAL CONFERENCE, a non-profit corporation under the laws of <br />the state of Illinois, owned and operated as BETHEL COLLEGE, a <br />non-profit institution ofhi<Jher education located in the City, <br />and its SUCcessors and assi9ns, hereinafter referred to as" <br />"Permittee", per.mission~to operate" a college campus on the tract <br />of land hereinafter described. All of the existing componentsr <br />structures and buildings of Permittee~s cOlleqe are sh~wn on the <br />Master Plan, dated" November 8, 1978, which is on file in the <br />riffice of the Clerk-Administrator in the City Hall. .. Addi tional <br />structures may be constructed on the col1e<Je campus provided they <br />are built in the locations and have the fuhctions specified in <br />the Master Plan for "proposed structures and have undergone the <br />building permit review procedure set forth ~n the City.s Ordinance <br />No. .213 and received the Council's approval thereof. Any devia- <br />"tion in the future development of the campus from the Master Plan <br />shall not be permitted .unless Permittee shall have followed the <br />special Us'e permit amendment procedure set forth in Ordinance No. <br />213 and obtained an amended special use permit allowin<J such devia- <br />tion. At the time an amended special use permit i~ issued, the <br />Master Plan shall be chan<Jed to reflect the amendments_ The <br />Master Plan shall also be updated each time new structures--which <br />conform to the current Master Plan--have come into existence. <br /> <br />The tract of land which constitutes Permittee's college <br />campus is located north of the Soo Line Railway and south of <br />Interstate Hi<Jhway No. 694 between State Trunk Hi<Jhway No. 51 and <br />Hamline Avenue North. Its legal description is as follows: <br /> <br />Those parts of Sections 21, 22, 27 and 28, Township 30, <br />Range 23, lying Westerly and Southerly of the Westerly <br />and Southerly ri<Jht-of-way lines of State Trunk Hi<Jhway <br />No. 51 and Interstate Hi<Jhway No. 694 lying Northerly <br />of the Northerly right-of-way line of the Soo Line <br />Railroad Company and lying Northerly and Easterly of <br />the Northerly and Easterly ri<Jht-of-way lines of State <br />Trunk Hi<Jhway No. 10, except the South 1/4 of the <br />Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 21, <br />Township 30, Range 23, lying East of the Easterly line <br />of said Highway No. lOr according to the U.
