<br />, <br /> <br />~ <br />~HILLS <br /> <br />\ <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: <br />TO: <br />FROM: <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />March 25, 2004 <br /> <br />ITEM <br /> <br />#7A <br /> <br />Mayor and City Council <br /> <br />Michelle Wolfe, City Administrator ~ <br /> <br /> <br />Adoption of the City of Arden Hills Human Rights Resolution <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />At the March 8, 2004 meeting, City Council reviewed a joint resolution supporting human rights, <br />which was prepared for consideration by all communities within the Mounds View School <br />District. During that discussion, the Council determined that they were interested in also <br />adopting a specific Arden Hills policy, which would expand on the City's commitment to <br />supporting human rights and specifically outline a list of efforts they will undertake to promote <br />that support. Councilmember Gregg Larson drafted a resolution which was distributed to the <br />Mayor and City Council. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />The City Council discussed the initial draft of the attached resolution at the March 15 work <br />session.
