Proposed Recruitment Process <br /> <br />OVERVIEW <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Based on the discussion at the April Work Session, the Council has indicated a desire to proceed <br />with filling the current Assistant City Administrator vacancy with an Assistant to the City <br />Administrator position. To implement this change, attached for your review and approval is a <br />proposed position description, revision to the compensation plan, and a proposed recruitment <br />process. <br /> <br />Position Description <br /> <br />With a few minor changes, this is essentially the same pOSItion description as the current <br />Assistant City Administrator position. The only notable change is that this position will not <br />necessarily assume the responsibilities in the absence of the City Administrator. The <br />requirement for supervisory experience has shifted from a minimum requirement to a preferred <br />requirement. <br /> <br />Compensation Schedule <br /> <br />The maximum salary for this position is $4733 per month, or $56,796 per year. <br /> <br />Proposed Recruitment Process <br /> <br />The proposed recruitment process would consist of an initial interview with myself and . <br />representatives of the management team.
