<br />~ <br />~HILLS <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />May 24, 2004 <br /> <br />Agenda Item 6.B <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />Mayor and City Council <br /> <br />Peler Hellegers, City Planne@ <br /> <br />Case #04-09 <br />GE Security/Interlogix <br />Sign Standard Adjustment <br />1275 Red Fox Road <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />Requested Action <br /> <br />The applicant is requesling a Sign Standard Adjustment from Ihe Signage Ordinance criteria for <br />a wall sign: <br />· Section 333, Table 1 - Maximum Area for Wall Signs: 45-square foot variance <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Sil!n Standard Adjustment Criteria <br /> <br />The signage standards state that a sign standard adjustment may be approved if the following <br />criteria of A or B, and !he necessary crileria of C are met: <br /> <br />A. There are site conditions which require a sign adjustment to allow the sign to be <br />reasonably visible from a street immediately adjacent to the street; Or, <br /> <br />B. The sign adjustment will allow a sign of exceptional design or a style that will <br />enhance the area or that is more consistent with the architecture and design of the <br />site; And, after finding positively on condition A or B above, <br /> <br />C.
