<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />". <br /> <br />,J <br /> <br />j <br /> <br />Sil!n Standard Adiustment Criteria <br /> <br />The signage standards state that a sign standard adjuslment may be approved if Ihe following <br />criteria of A or B, and the necessary criteria of C are met: <br /> <br />A. There are site conditions which require a sign adjustment to allow the sign to be <br />reasonably visible from a street immediately adjacent to the street; Or, <br /> <br />B. The sign adjustment will allow a sign of exceptional design or a style that will <br />enhance the area or that is more consistent with the architecture and design of the <br />site; And, after finding positively on condition A or B above, <br /> <br />C. The sign adjustment will not result in a sign that is inconsistent with the purpose <br />of the zoning district in which the property is located. <br /> <br />Staff Determination and Reeommendation <br /> <br />Due to Ihe location of the property, abutting Interstate 694 but approximately 900 feet to the <br />south and approximalely 1700 feet west of Lexington A venue, staff has made the following <br />findings: <br /> <br />I. There are site condilions which require a sign adjustment to allow the sign to be reasonably <br />visible from a street immediately adjacent to the site, <br /> <br />2. The sign adjustment will not resull in a sign Ihat is inconsistent with the purpose of the <br />zoning district in whieh Ihe property is located. <br /> <br />Therefore, in Planning Case #04-03 slaffrecommends approval of the Sign Standard Adjuslment <br />based on Ihe aforementioned findings and subjeello the following condilion: <br /> <br />I. Should Ihe sign require building work, the applicant shall file the necessary <br />building permits wilh the City Building Oflicial for approval prior to the issuance <br />of a building permit. <br /> <br />Options <br /> <br />I.
