<br />. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />~ <br />---A~ HILLS <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />May 24, 2004 <br /> <br />Agenda Item <br /> <br />6.C <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />Mayor and City Council <br /> <br />Peter Hellegers, City Planner @ <br /> <br />Case #04-10 <br />Bethel College <br />Special Use Permit (SUP) Master Plan Amendment <br />- Temporary Classroom Building <br />3900 Bethel Drive <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />ReQnested Action <br /> <br />The applicant is requesting approval of an amendment to their Special Use Permit (SUP) Master <br />Plan and a Site Plan review to allow for the installation of a temporary modular classroom _ <br />building on the east-cenlral portion of the campus, directly north of the Robertson Center. .. <br /> <br />PIanninl1: Commission Findinl1:s and Recommendation <br /> <br />Finding <br />The Planning Commission recommends making the following finding: <br /> <br />"The City Council has considered the effect of the proposed special use upon the health, <br />safety, convenience and general welfare of the owners and occupants of the surrounding <br />land, in particular, and the community as a whole and have found that the proposed <br />special use would not adversely affect the surrounding neighborhood and larger <br />community as per the factors as /isted in Section 8, D, 3, b of the Zoning Ordinance" <br /> <br />Recommendation and Conditions of Approval <br />At their May 5, 2004 meeting the Planning Commission reviewed this Planning Case #04- I 0 and <br />recommended approval of the Special Use Permit (Sixth) Amendment/Master Plan and approval <br />ofthe Site Plan subject to the following conditions: <br />1.
