Moore, Director of Operations & Maintenance <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Bid Award - 2004 CIP Perry Park Pavilion <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br />At the April 26, 2004 Regular City Council Meeting, staff recommended that the City Council <br />approve the plans and authorize the advertisement for and the obtaining of bids for the Perry <br />Park Pavilion. Councilmember Larson moved and Councilmember Grant seconded a motion to <br />approve the plans and authorize the advertisement for and the obtaining of bids for the Perry . <br />Park Pavilion. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). Bids were received and opened on June <br />9,2004. Bids were received from nine (9) contractors. HCM <br />Architects completed a bid tabulation to verify the total bids amounts. The project will begin <br />August 16, 2004. A Completion date of October 1, 2004 has been set. <br /> <br />BUDGEr <br />The 2004 CIP Budget for the Perry Park Pavilion is $350,000.00. MC Builders submitted the <br />low bid of $324,890.00. The fnnding source will be the Park Fund. Current Park Fund balance <br />is $553,000.00. . <br />
