The amount remaining after <br />said deductions will be asscssed by the following method. The resulting <br />assessment \vill be known as a lateral benefit asscssment. <br /> <br />Each assessablc unit shall be assessed as follows: <br /> <br />. R-l and R-2 residential lots at 100% ofthe total proiect cost <br />. All other land uses at 100% ofthe total proiect cost <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Sanitarv Sewer Building Service <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />The assessment rate for cach size of building service; four inch (4"), six <br />inch (6"), or eight inch (8") shall be determined by adding all the costs <br />associated with each size of service and dividing by the total number of <br />services constructed. Each unit will be assessed at the determined rate for <br />each size and number of services installed. This will be known as the <br />building service assessment. <br /> <br />WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM <br /> <br />A. Definitions and General Provisions <br /> <br />1. Water Source and Treatment Facilities <br />The City of Arden Hills purchases water from the City of Roseville to <br />supply the water distribution system. Water enters the system at three (3) <br />separate meter stations. <br /> <br />The water purchased from Roseville is treated, and Arden Hill does not <br />add any water treatment to thc distribution system. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />2. Water Storage Facilities <br />The City of Arden Hills has a total water storagc capacity of 1.5 million <br />gallons comprised by two (2) elevated storage tanks. One tank has a <br />capacity of 1.0 million gallons and is located south of 1-694 along Red Fox <br />Road. The other storage tank has a capacity of 0.5 million gallons and is <br />located north ofI-694 along Fernwood Avenue. <br /> <br />2005 Assessment Policy Manual - Page 17 <br />
