<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL WORKSESSION <br />AUGUST 23, 2004 <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br />Council Member Grant raised a few concems regarding the Edgewater project. City staff <br />reported that the project is moving along nicely. The curbing, utilities, and other amenities have <br />been installed. The neighborhood is very small and this has made it very difficult for the <br />construction activities to be completed in a timely manner. <br /> <br />Boulders and grass seed will bc added to the Femwood Channel weir in the near future. The <br />project checklist has bccn completed. <br /> <br />The City Engineer recently walked the pedestrian bridge and noted that the bridge was in fair <br />condition but still can be safcly used by pedestrians. <br /> <br />Council Member Grant thanked Tom Moore and Murtuza Siddiqui for leading the assessment <br />policy task force. <br /> <br />Mayor Aplikowski notcd that the City may have to budget for expenditures pertaining to services <br />provided by the Northwest Youth and Family Services. <br /> <br />Neighborhood meetings are scheduled for Septembcr and the first week of October. Another <br />option for hosting a neighborhood meeting is Presbyterian Homes located in Precinct 3. <br /> <br />City staff may host the Prccinct 1 meeting at city hall. <br /> <br />A public meeting pertaining to the proposed Highway 10 reconstruction project is scheduled for <br />September 30th at the City of Mounds View. <br /> <br />Mayor Aplikowski recently met with Representative McCollum to discuss future issues <br />pertaining to TCAAP. She is also scheduling a meeting with Senator Coleman in the near future <br />to discuss similar issues. <br /> <br />The City's truth in taxation meeting will be schedulcd for December. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 10:40 PM <br /> <br />Respectfully submittcd by Schawn P.
