Brown <br />Arden Hills City Engineer <br /> <br />Date: September 8, 2004 <br /> <br />Subject: Pay Estimate #2 <br />2004 Pavement Management Program <br />Edgewater Neighborhood <br /> <br />Background <br />The City of Arden Hills awarded Arnt Construction Company, Inc. of Hugo, MN the 2004 . <br />Pavement Management Program on June 28, 2004 for a total contract amount of $1 ,059, 189. 76 <br /> <br />Project Status <br />The Contractor has completed all of the underground utility work in both the northern and <br />southern neighborhoods. The Contractor has completed all roadbase in both neighborhoods and <br />all curb and gutter has been completed, with a few areas tbat were left open for access purposes <br />and will be completed shortly. The pond at Lake Lane and Edgewater Avenue has been graded <br />and a majority oflandscaping around the pond has been completed. Minor excavation ofthe <br />Park Pond at County Road D and Shoreline Lane has been completed as well. All sanitary <br />sewer structural repairs and re-Iining has been completed. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />The Arden Hills City Engineer recommends the Council approve Pay Estimate #2 for Amt <br />Construction Company, Inc. of Hugo, MN in the amount of$495,596.25. A retainage of5.00% <br />is being held for this project. <br /> <br />. <br />
