One has also included an approximation of the amount required to do <br />the destructive testing with a masomy and drywall contractor. <br /> <br />Staff has determined that Architectural Testing's not to exceed quote, after comparing as best as <br />possible, is approximately half ofthe amount ofInspcc's quote. Staff had requested and checked <br />references for Architectural Testing. Those checks have bcen favorable. A resume has also been <br />included from Architectural Testing. <br /> <br />Requested Action <br /> <br />Authorize staff to contract with Architectural Testing to do the leak investigation with a "not to <br />exceed" amount of $5,000. In addition authorize staff to hire the necessary contractors to <br />eomplcte the testing with an estimated amount of $5,000. <br /> <br />Staff wishes to remind the City Council that the above amounts are only to dctermine location <br />and cause of the leak, and to make recommendations on how to repair the leak.
