Brown <br />Arden Hills City Engineer <br /> <br />Date: October 6, 2004 <br /> <br />Subject: Pay Estimate #3 <br />2004 Pavement Management Program <br />Edgewater Neighborhood <br /> <br />Background <br />The City of Arden Hills awarded Amt Construction Company, Inc. of Hugo, MN the 2004 <br />Pavement Management Program on June 28,2004 for a total contract amount of$1,059,189.76 . <br /> <br />Project Status <br />The Contractor has completed all underground utility work, roadbase, curb and gntter and the <br />first layer of bituminous. All sanitary sewer repairs and relining has been completed. Pond <br />excavation has been completed along with a majority of the landscaping. The retaining wall has <br />been constructed and final grading and restoration is being completed, Next week the <br />Contractor plans to construct the final lift and any minor cleanup items that are outstanding. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />The Arden Hills City Engineer recommends the Council approve Pay Estimate #3 for Amt <br />Construction Company, lnc, of Hugo, MN in the amount of $191 ,911.40. A retainage of 5.00% <br />is being held for this project. <br /> <br />. <br />
