The additional work <br />induded removing and replacing water main along Edgewater A venue. As a result of the additional work, <br />the scope of the project increased, as well as the original contract amount for the work. The following is an <br />overview of the modifications made to the contract: <br /> <br />Item # 1- Additional Water Main Work <br /> <br />Once excavated. the water main appeared to be in poor condition and the additional work was <br />recommended by the engineer in field to eliminate future maintenance issues for the city.
