The equipment that was used an Extech 407768 Sound Level meter. This device
measured the sound level in decibels.
The locations of the readings were as followed. Approximately five feet from the west DBC
while nUlling was about 72 dB. When I moved to about 15 feet south from the same unit a reading of
58 dB. Moving approximately 30 feet south of the unit the reading was 57 dB. At the edge of the roof
south from the unit the reading was 55 dB.
Two reading were taken on the ground. One of them was taken on the southwest side of the
building around on top of the hill with direct line of sight of both D Be to get a reading. This reading
wa~ 51 dB. When moved across the street, the readings were 47 dB. On a typical scale, the noise levels
in a residence are approximately 55 dB.

.

Sincerely,

Robert Krukoski
Johnson Controls, Inc.
Engineering Intern
Phone: 763-784-1478
Fax: 763-784-9696

.
