(A TI) was contracted by the City of Arden Hills to assist in <br />evaluating persistent water leakage that has continued to occur in two specific areas. The scope <br />of our services included inspection, testing and reporting, including presentation of remedial <br />repair options. <br /> <br />Background Information: The following background information was furnished by City of . <br />Arden Hills personnel or obtained from pertinent document review. <br /> <br />1. Construction of the City of Arden Hills office building was completed in October, 2001. <br /> <br />2. Problems associated with water entry in other areas oflhe building have been significant <br />and widespread. <br /> <br />3. The two areas of concern where water leakage has continued to occur are as follows. <br /> <br />a. East end conference room and hallway. <br />b. Vaulted ceiling area in main lobby. <br /> <br />Repair of both of these areas has been attempted, without success. <br /> <br />4. Remediation in other areas has resulted in a significant reduction in the occurrences of <br />water entry. <br /> <br />5. Mold abatement has also been done in the vaulted ceiling area (Area A) in the main <br />lobby. <br /> <br />6.
