Our request for payment is enclosed. I have also . <br />enclosed some photographs taken by the crew during the course of the work. <br /> <br />These photos show that the conditions uncovered as the work proceeded were such that <br />it was likely that the poor design and workmanship of the original construction <br />contributed to the leaking problems that you experienced. I suspect that the masonry <br />construction throughout the entire building is of a similar quality and that you can expect <br />further problems in the near future. As an example, the construction detail revealed by <br />the removal of the parapet cap does not appear to have any effective system of flashing <br />to prevent water from leaking into the interior of the wall cavity below. <br /> <br />We would be very interested in working with you to make the additional needed repairs. <br />If you have any questions or if we can be of further service, please give me a call.
