To date, staff has spent <br />$6,550 which includes: <br /> <br />. Appraisal-$1,700 <br />. Environmental Phase I and Pre-Demolition Survey~$3,650 <br />. Wetland Delineation-$l ,200 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />As it was stated at the October meeting, once staff had the initial environmental survey work <br />completed at the site we would be in a better position to determine actual disposition costs. At <br />the December 20, 2004 Council work session, staff presented the environmental information <br />which showed that a significant "fill area" exists on the east end of the property. This area will <br />have test pits and soil probes done to determine the type of materials that are contained in the fill, <br />and if hazardous materials exist, a health and safety plan regarding excavation. This analysis is <br />an expensive item and the estimate is $30,000 for the work.
