<br />~ <br /> <br />ARDEN HILLS REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />FEBRUARY 14,2005 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Larson moved and Councilmember Grant seconded a <br />motion to approve the January 24, 2005 City Council Work Session <br />Minutes as amended. The motion carried unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />3. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />a. Claims and Payroll <br />b. Resolution No. 05-24: Approving Pot-O-Gold Bingo Hall License Renewal Request <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Grant moved and Councilmember Larson seconded a <br />motion to approve the Consent Calendar and to authorize execution of all <br />necessary documents contained therein. The motion carried unanimously <br />(4-0). <br /> <br />4. PUBLIC INQUlRIES/INFORMATIONAL <br /> <br />Marcy Jefferys, 1759 Glenview Avenue, expressed concern about not keeping the public <br />sufficiently informed regarding TCAAP. She suggested a mailing be sent out to the residents <br />informing them of what was going on. She stated she had concerns about the way things <br />appeared to be heading with TCAAP. . <br /> <br />5. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />A. Representative Char Samuelson <br /> <br />Representative Char Samuelson presented a legislative update to the City Council. <br /> <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. 2005 PMP-Red Fox/Grev Fox Feasibilitv Report - PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Mr. Brown stated the Feasibility Study for this project included the rehabilitation of Red Fox <br />Road, Grey Fox Road and Northwoods Drive and reconstruction of Dunlap Street and the TH 51 <br />Frontage Road. He presented a PowerPoint presentation highlighting items and alternatives <br />presented in the Feasibility Study. He also presented funding alternatives for the project. <br /> <br />He stated representatives from URS and Tom Moore have met with representatives from the Rice <br />Creek Watershed District, MnDOT, International Paper and Smiths Medical for input regarding <br />frontage road options. In addition letters were sent to the property owners directly affected by <br />this project detailing the potential option of vacating the frontage road and moving the <br />intersection north to Red Fox Road. City staff and URS have received a fcw phone calls with . <br />questions regarding the project, but so far no objections to the vacation of the TH 51 frontage <br />road have been brought to their attention. <br />
