URS completed a bid tabulation to verify the total bid amounts and have attached a copy of the bid <br />tabulation for your information. <br /> <br />Gridor Construction, Inc. submitted the low bid with a total bid amount of $236,758,00. The Engineer's Estimate <br />reflects current market prices based on recent projects in the Twin Cities metro area. The low bid is approximately <br />1.4% lower than the Engineer's Estimate indicating a reasonable price for the scope of work included with the <br />project. In general, construction costs have increased significantly during 2004 when this project was budgeted due <br />to increased cost of steel, higher fuel prices and increased labor costs.
