Consider Resolution #05-29 ~.-hich would add the front porch language and Front Porch <br />Design Guidelines to Appendix A of Zoning Ordinance #291. <br /> <br />Planninl!. Commission Recommendation <br /> <br />Recommendation and Conditions of Approval <br />At their March 2, 2005 meeting the Planning Commission reviewed Planning Case #05-07 and <br />unanimously recommended approval (5-0) of the Zoning Ordinance Amendments as proposed. <br /> <br />Update <br /> <br />At the April 18, 2005 City Council Work Session the City Council directed staffto remove <br />language that would allow for enclosed porches by eliminating glass from a material that could <br />be used as part of the 65% open area. The City Council also directed staff to insure that the steps <br />leading to the covered front porches would meet the building code requirements. The attached <br />documents reflect this discussion. <br /> <br />Options <br /> <br />1. Recommend approval as submitted. <br /> <br />2.
