<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Sib'-- <br /> <br />~ <br />-'1\~ HILLS <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />ST ATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 05-29 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING APPENDIX A OF ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 291 TO <br />INCLUDE I>ESIGN GUIDELINES AND PROCEDURES FOR COVERED FRONT <br />PORCHES AS ENCROACHMENTS INTO FRONT AND SIDE YARD CORNER <br />SETBACKS <br /> <br />WHEREAE: Arden Hills has adopted new regulations allowing covered front porches in <br />front and side-yard corner setback areas subject to certain conditions. <br /> <br />WHEREAS: These regulations include a specific administrative review procedure and <br />'design guidelines for covered porches proposed to encroach in the front yard or <br />side-yard corner setback areas up ten feet but in no case leaving a setback of <br />less than thirty feet from the porch to the property lines. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Council of the City of Arden Hills <br />directs staff to include in Zoning Ordinance No. 291, Appendix A. the design guidelines <br />and application procedure for porches which encroach into the front and side-yard <br />corner setback areas. <br /> <br />ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS 9th DAY <br />OFMAY,2005. <br /> <br />Beverly Aplikowski, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Michelle A.
