<br />. <br /> <br />~ <br />~~HILLS <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />May 3, 2005 <br /> <br />CLOSED SESSION MEETING <br /> <br />TO: Mayor and Council <br />Michelle Wolfe, City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: Scott Clark; Community Development Director <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Land Negotiations between the GSA and Development Team <br /> <br />Staff has included a closed session on the Couneil's agenda to discuss the on-going land <br />negotiations between the GSA and the development team (CRR, LLC and the City). At this time, <br />we will discuss were we are in the process, negotiation issues, timelines, and future strategies. <br />Staff anticipates that there will be one additional meeting this week which will clarify a number <br />. of issues that currently are sticking points. <br /> <br />One issue is the need for the City to commit that the sports facility area will be a perpetual public <br />use, which will affect the value. Staff will be sending a letter stating that this is the intended use <br />of the property. <br /> <br />CRR, LLC will have representatives at the meeting. lfthe Council has specific questions to be <br />addressed at the closed session, please e-mail the same to staff so we can research and respond <br />on Monday. <br /> <br />. <br />
