The intention of this policy is to recognize city staff <br />members for: <br />· Exceptional Employee Job Related Performance; <br />. Years of Service to the City; <br />. Money or Time Saving Ideas; <br />· Employee Retirements, <br /> <br />One new aspect of the proposed policy is the creation of an annual employee luncheon that <br />would be used to recognize employee contributions, retirees, years of service, and exceptional <br />job performances over the past year, The annual employee luncheon would be scheduled for <br />January 0 f each year. <br /> <br />An employee of the year would also be announced at the employee luncheon. The purpose of <br />this policy is to recognize an employee that is deserving of a special recognition due their <br />accomplishments and contributions to the City in the past year. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />City staff is requesting that City Council input regarding the proposed employee recognition and <br />employee of the year policy. <br /> <br />Attachments: <br /> <br />.
