<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL WORKSESSION MINUTES <br />June 13 2005 <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />Councilmember Larson recommended that the City Council schedule a meeting with CCR in the <br />near future to discuss the future of the TCAAP project. We need to discuss the appraisal and <br />regulatory environmental services and who is going to pay for these services. <br /> <br />Mayor Aplikowski stated it is her understanding that the City Council supports the notion of <br />paying for an independent appraisal and asking CRR to pay for the FOSET and Response Action <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant would be agreeable to moving the project forward if CRR would be <br />willing to pay for the FOSET, Response Action Agreement, and all other related environmental <br />studies. <br /> <br />Mayor Aplikowski wants the City Council to move forward as a group on this project. <br /> <br />Councilmember Gfant believes that the developer will ask for something in return if we ask them <br />to pay for the FOSET and the Response Action Agreement. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden would like to meet with the developer to discuss these issues. <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant asked Ci ty staff how much the FOSET and Response Action Agreement <br />would cost? <br /> <br />Community Development Director Clafk estimates that the FOSET and Response Action <br />Agreement could cost roughly $100,000 to $150,000. These expenses would be for the <br />attorney's involvement representing the City. <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem recommends that the City completes its own appraisal of the TCAAP <br />property and begin negotiations with the developer regarding the FOSET and Response Action <br />Agreement costs. <br /> <br />Mayor Aplikowski mentioned that the developer is more concerned about density issues. <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem said that density is an important issue and should be discussed at a future <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Aplikowski asked Councilmember Grant when he would be available to attend a meeting <br />with the development team. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Clark recommended June 29th <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant said that he should be available on .Tune 29th <br /> <br />Mayor Aplikowski fequested that Councilmember Grant communicate with City staff any <br />concerns that he has regarding the development agreement. <br /> <br />3 <br />
