The applicant is in the process of selling his <br />home; by subdividing and consolidating the subject piece of property, existing sightlines would <br />be preserved for the neighboring property owner. The applicant's property which was larger <br />than the district requirements to begin, with will be left with a property which would still meet <br />all of the requirements. The consolidation of this new piece with the property to the north <br />actually improves the situation for that property as it appears that the house and deck there were <br />nonconforming with City setback regulations. Division/Consolidation - Meets Requirement <br /> <br />Chapter II of the City Code lists the requirements for subdividing and consolidating property. <br />Section 1150.04 discusses the procedures for "Division or Consolidation of Platted Lots of <br />Record".
