<br />e <br /> <br />Memorandum of Understanding <br />Between the City of Arden Hills and <br />Licensed Residential Solid Waste Haulers <br /> <br />This Memorandum of Understanding is entered into on the _ day <br />of ,2005 between the City of Arden Hills (City) and the <br />undersigned Licensed Residential Waste Haulers (Haulers). <br /> <br />Haulers shall abide by the following provisions: <br /> <br /> I. <br /> 2. <br />e 3. <br /> 4. <br /> 5. <br /> 6. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The Haulers will structure routes so that lighter-loaded trucks travel <br />on the streets with poorer construction. <br /> <br />The Haulers will begin their routes in Arden Hills with as small a <br />volume of waste in their trucks as is practicable. <br /> <br />By October 31, 2005, the Haulers will only use tandem axle trucks <br />throughout the city. <br /> <br />The Haulers will assist the city by alerting the city staff to unlicensed <br />haulers who may be coming into Arden Hills. <br /> <br />The Haulers will furnish the city with a list of telephone numbers <br />(updated on a regular basis) to be used for complaints. <br /> <br />By October 31,2005, all Haulers will provide their customers with <br />refuse containers which contain the current name and phone number <br />ofthe Hauler. <br /> <br />7. The Haulers will continue to provide a volume-pricing system for <br />their customers. <br /> <br />8. The Haulers will assist their customers in disposing of larger items <br />like refrigerators, water heaters and appliances. <br />
