<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the NIMS standardized procedures for managing personnel, <br />communieations, facilities, and rcsourccs will improve the ability of City of Arden Hills to <br />utilize federal funding to enhance local and state agency readiness, maintain first responder <br />safety, and streamline incident management processes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Incident Command System components of the NIMS are already an <br />integral part of various ineident management activities throughout City of Arden Hills)ncluding <br />current emergency management training programs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks (9-11 Commission) <br />recommended adoption of a standardized Incident Command System; and <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: we do hcreby establish the National Incident <br />Managcment System (NIMS) as the City of Arden Hills standard for incident management. <br /> <br />ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS 8TH <br />DAY OF AUGUST, 2005. <br /> <br />Beverly Aplikowski, MAYOR <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Michelle A.
