Approval is for the installation of an emergency generator, Caterpillar 34l2DIT <br />500 KW unit, as identified in the submitted plans and specifications. Said unit <br />shall be installed in accordance with the plans submitted. Minor modifications <br />may be made to the plans subject to approval by the City Planner. Significant <br />changes to the plans require review and approval through the Site Plan Review <br />process. <br />2. Use ofthe generator is for emergency purposes only. Said generator may be llsed <br />only when the primary source of electricity for the office/warehouse building is <br />disrupted. <br />3. Corporate Express is required to submit a noise mitigation plan in the fllture if the <br />City receives complaints regarding noise generated by the unit and said <br />complaints are validated by City Staff. <br /> <br />OPTIONS <br /> <br />1. Recommend approval as submitted. <br />2. Recommend approval with conditions. <br />3. Recommend denial with reasons for denial. If the City denies the petitioners <br />request, "it must state in writing the reasons for the denial at the time it <br />denies the request". <br />4. Table for additional infonnation. <br /> <br />DEADLINE FOR AGENCY ACTION: February 2,2006 <br /> <br />The City of Arden Hills received the completed application for this request on December12, <br />2005. Pursuant to Minnesota State Statllte, the City nlllst act on this request by February 12, <br />2006 (60 days), unless the City provides the petitioner with written reasons for an additional <br />60-day review period.
