<br />URS <br /> <br />Decem be r 30, 2005 <br /> <br />Ms. Michelle Wolfe <br />City Administrator <br />1245 Highway 96 <br />Arden Hills, MN 55112 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RE: Summary of Project Design and Construction Activity for January 2004 - June 2005 <br /> <br />Dear Ms. Wolfe: <br /> <br />The last 24 months have been steady for the City of Arden Hills with regards to capital improvement projects <br />including city projects, Ramsey County projects and private projects. URS has continued to provide a wide <br />range of selVices to help the City keep on top of these activities. There were seven new projects designed <br />andlor administered by URS during this period. These projects include the following: <br /> <br />· 2004 PMP Project: Reconstruction of the Edgewater Neighborhood. <br />. 2005 PMP Project: Reconstruction and overlay of the Red Fox/Grey Fox Commercial Area. <br />. 2005 Lift Station Rehabilitation Project {LS #4 & LS #9) <br />. 2005 Sealcoating Project <br />. 2006 PMP Project: Reconstruction of the Ridgewood Neighborhood <br />. 2006 Lift Station Rehabilitation Project (LS 1, 11, 12 & 13) <br />· Highway 96 Landscape Improvements <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />In addition, the three projects listed below were initiated in 2003 and included a minor amount of work during the <br />review period. <br /> <br />· 2003 PMP Project: Reconstruction of the Ingerson Neighborhood and the overlay of the Karth Lake East <br />Neighborhood. <br />. Booster Station Improvements: Complete renovation of the City's watermain booster station located near the <br />south water tower. <br />. Lift Station #7 and Karth Lake Pumping System Improvements: Renovation of Lift Station #7 (near <br />Presbyterian Homes) and the construction of a new pumping system for Karth Lake. <br /> <br />In addition to the stand alone projects, URS staff was involved on behalf of Arden Hills in three projects <br />undertaken by Ramsey County. <br /> <br />· Highway 96 Reconstruction: Complete reconstruction of Highway 96 from North Heights Church to <br />Lexington Avenue. <br />. Ramsey County Maintenance Facility Construction: Complete construction of a joint use maintenance facility <br />on approximately 40 acres of land. <br />. Lexington Avenue Reconstruction: Complete reconstruction of Lexington Avenue between Highway 96 and <br />Cummings Park Drive. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />URS <br />
