Moore; Director of Operations & Maintenance ~ <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />SUBJECT: PTRC Vision Plan Discussion <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br />For the past few months, a subcommittee of the PTRC, chaired by Roger Williams, has met to <br />draft a Vision Plan for the park and trail system in Arden Hills. The subcommittee sought to; <br />. Articulate a vision, based on the 2002 Parks, Trails and Opcn Space Plan, that leads to a <br />park and trail system that enhances the health and well-being of the Arden Hills residents <br />and provides access to natural and recreational resources in the city and the region. <br />. Recommend possible strategies for bringing this vision into reality. <br /> <br />The PTRC is meeting on Thursday February 16, 2006 at 7:30pm to review and finalize a <br />DRAFT Vision Plan. At the Tuesday February 21, 2006 Council Worksession, the PTRC will <br />verbally present the DRAFT Vision Plan; discuss its possible implications for the parks and trails <br />system and community building in Arden Hills. Furthermore the PTRC will offer possible <br />recommendations for future consideration by the City Council. <br />
