PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />A. 2006 Ridl!ewood Neil!hborhood PMP Assessment Hearinl! <br /> <br />Ms. Giga stated that Council awarded the contract for the 2006 PMP improvements to Amt <br />Construction Company on June 12,2006. She gave a brief summary of the improvements to the <br />neighborhood, as well as a current proj ect update. <br /> <br />Ms. Giga stated that the total project costs, including construction and engineering fees, are $2.1 <br />million. Funding for this project comes from the General Capital Fund and Utility Enterprise <br />Funds. Following the assessment policy adopted in 2004, 50% of the roadway improvement costs <br />will be assessed. She reviewed the projects costs associated with each of the funds and the <br />assessable amounts. Approximately 29% of the project costs are proposed to be received from <br />assessments, and the remaining 71 % will be funded by the City. <br /> <br />Ms. Giga indicated that there are two assessment payment options. The first is to pay the entire <br />amOlmt within 30 days of the adoption of the assessment roll. This can be paid at City Hall and <br />will accrue no interest. The second option is for cqual installments to be added to the residents' <br /> <br />. <br />
