A vacant lot may have a covered front porch on a new <br />dwelling that is as close as 30 feet to the front lot line; redeveloped lots with structures <br />bigger than thc original structure may have a covered porch as close as 30 feet to thc <br />front lot line; redeveloped lots with a new structure that is on the sanle footprint as the <br />previous structure will preserve the right to encroach on the front setback based on the <br />formula in the Ordinance, and glass cannot be part of the 35 percent of the porch walls <br />that may be solid. <br /> <br />Commissioner Bezdicek moved, seconded by Commissioner McClung to approve <br />Planning Case No. 06-012, Front Porch Zoning Ordinance Amendment, City of Arden <br />Hills. <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />fJ <br />" <br /> <br /><>~ <br />~~ <br /> <br />
