<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />(b) Killed a domestic animal without provocation; or <br /> <br />(c) A potentially dangerous animal which aggressively bites, attacks, <br />or endangers the safety of humans or domestic animals. <br /> <br />9. Dog. Any canine animal, male or female, whole or neutered. <br /> <br />10. Enclosure. Any structure, except a dwelling, designed to securely <br />enclose and prevent an animal from escaping therefrom and/or designed <br />to provide the animal with shelter and protection from the weather. <br /> <br />11. Owner. Any person, firm, or corporation, organization or department <br />possessing, harboring, keeping, having an interest in or having custody <br />or control of an animal. <br /> <br />12. Potentially Dangerous Animal. Any animal that has committed any of <br />the acts set forth below: <br /> <br />(a) When unprovoked, bites a human or domestic animal; <br /> <br />(b) When unprovoked, chases or approaches a person upon the streets, <br />sidewalks or any other public property in an apparent attitude of <br />attack; or <br /> <br />(e) Has a known propensity, tendency, or disposition to attack <br />unprovoked, causing injury or otherwise threatening the safety of <br />humans or domestic animals. <br /> <br />13. Restrained. On a leash of not more than six (6) feet in length or on a <br />leash which can be retracted to a length of six (6) feet or less, and in <br />the custody of a person of sufficient age to adequately control the <br />animal; in a vehicle; or confined to the owner's property by enclosure or <br />fencing. <br /> <br />14. Substantial Bodily Harm. Bodily injury which involves a temporary but <br />substantial disfigurement, or which causes a temporary but substantial <br />loss or impairment of the function of any bodily member or organ, or <br />which causes a fracture of any bodily member. <br /> <br />400.02 License Required.
