Tenants located on the <br /> <br />street or otherwise primary level in a center with a common mall or atrium shall he <br /> <br />considered to have direct access to the outside for the purpose of this section. <br /> <br />Subd.l The management and ownership of any busmess establishment proposing to <br /> <br />install sign age must be separate and distinct from the management and <br /> <br />ownership of any other establishment in the same building or on the same <br /> <br />building lot. Each establishment must be separated from all other <br /> <br />establishments by party walls [as. per the International Building Cndel having <br /> <br />no openings or passages. <br /> <br />Subd.2 Signagc for establishments occupying a multi-tenant building or site, but not <br /> <br />locatcdon the street or primary level of the building must be provided from <br /> <br />the aJlocation of sign area and type to the occupants of the s.treet or primary <br /> <br />level of the building. <br /> <br />Subd.3 Only one freestanding sign is pem1incd for each development or parcel <br /> <br />whether occupied by a single orby multiple tenants.
